What I like about it
Max Payne is like you were playing a Matrix and John Wick game but unlike those two frachises the sequels for Max Payne don't suck. You play as a hard-boiled detective whose family was murdered and you are out for revenge. The game uses bullet time mechanics to let you dodge bullets in slow motion while taking out enemies in cinematic fashion. The comic book style cutscenes with voice-over narration really add to the noir atmosphere. The snowy, gritty New York City setting combined with a moody soundtrack creates an immersive experience that makes you feel like you're in a crime thriller movie. Overall, Max Payne stands out for its unique blend of storytelling, gameplay, and atmosphere.
